Harold Lederman
Twelve years ago, we embarked on a journey to create a company that is different. Together with my friends, Gary and Eric, we took our combined experience in marketing, operations and finance and created Kleerspex which is a responsive and customer service focused company in the optical industry. We have experienced steady growth based on our passion to serve our customers and provide them the best responsiveness and products in the industry.
I am especially excited to be able to use my years of financial experience to help support that growth.
As a small company, it is also satisfying to be involved with all aspects of the business. Depending on the situation you may find any one of us anywhere in the company-on a sales call, packing boxes or working on strategy. It’s been fun. I am also particularly grateful to the customers for their support and the personal relationships we have developed over the years.
Eric Freudenheim
KleerSpex is a “family” business. Even though we aren’t related by blood, Harold, Gary and I have been friends for over 30 years. We met when our children were in the same preschool.
Today, all the children are grown and have flown the coup. It is amazing that many of them are still in touch. We continue to operate our 12 year old business as a family business. My primary role at KleerSpex is marketing and sales, focusing on customers.
Customers are the lifeblood of any business. Gaining customer trust and understanding their needs and wants is of the utmost importance to me. I enjoy meeting our customers, either in person or via the telephone and learning about their requirements as well as about their families. Our close customer relationships make checking in on reorders or starting new orders very easy and personal.
Gary Baron
Gary has worked most of his adult life in the optical industry. From grade school he remembers helping in the family business filling bottles in the basement, helping grow the business while in high school, and joining on board full time in the early 1980’s. He ran the family business until it was sold in 1999. He was then instrumental in starting and growing a local frame company, running the operations of the corporation.
Gary then left to start a company in the building industry and spent many years working and growing that business. In 2009 Gary, along with his two longtime friends, decided to reconstruct the family business with a modern twist – environmentally friendly products. We were the perfect group to start this company since we each had expertise in different areas: finance, sales, and operations. Having run the large family business, Gary was comfortable with making sure the operations of the new company benefited from his knowledge and experience. From building the early, rudimentary filling equipment - this time in a warehouse instead of a basement - to training the employees on how to silkscreen print, the operations of KleerSpex took shape. Today, we pride ourselves in our ability to produce your orders accurately and efficiently all in a timely, price competitive manner that keeps our Environment in mind.
